Imagine you’re at internship/ work and a young person comes up to you and says, “I’ve been hearing about Black Lives Matter, but I’m not really sure what it is. Can you explain it to me?” Explain the movement using words that a young person would understand. What questions do YOU have about BLM? Post at least two The black lives matter moment is a a chapter-based, member-led organization whose mission is to build local power and to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.  This is an explanation posted on the black lives matter movement's website, and is my best way of explaining the movement itself. Basically, the movement is based on the recent publicity of the large incarceration of black men in America, and the notion that all lives matter no matter what race you are. 1. The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that help healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Core Values: Caring: to demonstrate a sincere concern for others, for their needs and well-being 2. In my own words, the  problems that these statements imply is that it might turn people away because of the organizations beliefs. 3. I think the fact that the YMCA is a christian based non-profit is good in theory because they are spreading their religious beliefs into their program. The only thing I would change is the name of the YMCA, because it stands for Young Mens Christian Association, and in reality there are just as many females working and attending the YMCA as there are males.
